At Pilates by Kim, my primary objective is to have you leave your session or class feeling better than when you arrived. I believe the pursuit of health and wellness should reflect a physical practice, a state of mind, and an intentional choice.

As human beings, we are more than our muscles and bones. We are complex creatures with histories and experiences that live deep in our tissues. Every body has a story to tell, and every story deserves to be told in its own way and at its own pace. In my practice, I strive to meet the client where they are, not where society or culture thinks they should be. At KW Pilates & Movement, you don’t have to be young, and you don’t have to already be fit … you just have to show up!

MISSION STATEMENT:
At Pilates by Kim, the person is the primary focus. One size does not fit all. My aim in every session is to educate and empower my clients to embody nourishing movement practices, gain a deeper understanding of what works for them, and advocate for themselves moving forward based on that understanding.
I own and operate a home-based studio located in a quiet suburban neighborhood in Northport, AL. My studio is fully equipped with Pilates apparatus including four Reformer/Tower combos, a Cadillac, an Exo chair, and Ladder Barrel, as well as arc barrels and small props.
I am also the sole provider in my area of the MELT® Method, a revolutionary self-care system designed to help improve performance and get people out of a pain cycle. My studio is stocked with the specific tools of this method such as therapeutic balls and soft foam rollers to provide you with a whole-body approach to wellness as well as solutions for persistent pain, mobility, and balance.
